Terms of Service

CellarVine is a digital wine cellar: it lets you catalogue bottles, organize cellars, browse a label catalogue and receive AI-generated suggestions and pairings. CellarVine does not sell alcoholic beverages and does not broker wine purchases.

The Service deals with alcoholic beverages and is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or over (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, if higher). By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. Please enjoy wine responsibly.

Registration is done with Google or Apple sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for all activity under it, and you agree to provide accurate information. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

CellarVine offers paid plans (Sommelier and Premium), billed monthly or yearly, with a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card. On the web, payments are processed by Stripe; on iOS, by the App Store (Apple).

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, which you can do at any time in the app or in the corresponding store — access continues until the end of the period already paid. Prices may change with prior notice; refunds follow the payment platform rules and applicable law.

The data you enter (bottles, notes, ratings) and the photos you upload (labels, wine lists) remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process this content for the sole purpose of operating the Service.

You are responsible for the content you upload and confirm that you have the right to share it.

Suggestions, pairings and other responses from the AI sommelier are generated automatically and are informational and recreational in nature. They may contain inaccuracies and do not constitute professional, medical or nutritional advice. Information about vintages, prices and availability may be outdated.

You must not: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to access other people’s accounts or data; copy, scrape or redistribute the catalogue or any part of the Service; reverse engineer it; resell the Service; or interfere with its operation. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

The software, the CellarVine brand, the design and the catalogue are protected by intellectual property rights and belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not transfer any rights to you other than a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, with reasonable notice to subscribers when the change is significant.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or data loss arising from the use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights guaranteed to you by consumer protection law.

You can delete your account and all your data at any time through the account deletion page, and you will receive a confirmation protocol number. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with its update date. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email; continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the consumer’s place of residence, without prejudice to rights guaranteed by consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction.
